The Media App is showing all my songs with 00:00 length, Artists and Albums are empty.

Furthermore Filebrowser shows me:

sdcard -> /home/nemo/android_storage

I am positive i havn't change the symlink to .../music on my SD Card prior or after the Tahkalampi update.

Any suggestions? Do i need to change symlink? If so please give me a detailed description (noob)

Thanks in advance

After a reboot the other day the music has vanished completely from Media App.

It is still on the SDCard but not in the Media App....Any suggestions how i can access the SD card from Media Player?

kick Tracker in the guts tracker-control -se in terminal.

Give it a few minutes to reindex, and you should start seeing music in the player

And how this can be done? Sorry I do not use developer mode...

I dont think it is possible without developer mode. Not very user friendly I know, but its not really feasible to run the Jolla without dev mode enabled

Thanks r0kk3rz for the answer. Couldn't weite earlier but tracker-control -se did its thing. To aynone i can verify that this is the easiest way to reindex your files. Of course dev-mode has to be activated.

seems to happen to me every time i reboot the phone... the files lose all metadata and need reindexing
