Aside from messaging apps, lots of android apps (especially games) generate spam notifications just to try to get you to play the game more often. I get a lot of those from games my kids play on my phone. On an android device you can disable android notifications per application in the Settings app. Can we have a similar setting for Alien Dalvik please?

There are other features of the Android Settings app that are not available on Alien Dalvik, such as positioning settings and sync configuration. Could there be a single sailfish android settings widget that covers all of these?

A logical place for it to slot into the UI would be through each Android app's icon in the 'App' section of Settings. This being Sailfish, it would be good to have options that standard Android won't give you, such as the ability to disable bacjground services for an app, or forbid it some of its permissions (at your own risk of course)

AFAIK, Alien Dalvik is licensed 3rd party software, so likely the Jolla developers can't do much about that.

please note that some of these settings you are asking for are google services and not general android settings you would need - those settings are controlled by the OS. For example, location services are Nokia, not google and requests to have those settings available have been made in Dec 2013

I have installed Google services and play store with punch of core Google apps. So, the android is quite complete and be able to run most apps I have tried so far except Google Inbox. I miss still the Settings app for Android side?

The one thing I do miss about the settings app is the ability to disable specific apps. That way I could keep skype installed but prevent it from starting this weird background service I don't want.
