Exchange account - When I should recreate the account [answered]

I have been using the exchange account/client since December through out all the updates and currently I am running at SailFish OS 1.0.8.19.

So far my account have worked well (I think), but some of the TJC posts here are suggesting to recreating the Exchange account.

Is there need to re-create the account, if everything seems to work?
What are the pros and cons, if I would re-create my account?

There's no need to recreate account if everything is working correctly, however there were some invasive changes introduced(mostly related to contacts sync) that in some cases after update make things not work properly.

OK and thanks - Good to know as I have kept the contacts sync disabled after I once synced our global address book i.e. quite many contacts for nothing.

Perhaps this has been the reason that I haven't experienced any problem so far.
