I always seem to be struggling with sharing multiple files at once from my Jolla to any device or service. Now I tried owncloud Android app and Metacrane but did not succeed with any of them. Before I have tried Dropbox etc. I hate the UX on Sailbox or whatever it is called. I guess I'll have to dig for a cable again :(

How do you guys share photos etc from this device wirelessly?

depends how you want to share. locally i advice to take a look at http folder share available in warehouse (work with putting links to the folder too). if through the internet, then cargo dock with owncloud.

@AmadeusXnet - not sure what Cargo Dock has to do with sharing files, Cargo Dock is for managing files on the device, nothing to do with sharing locally/globally. @Wizah - Yep, limited choices it seems. Bluetooth, email, facebook & Sailbox. You could try Sailimgur by walokra, found through Warehouse Repos (openrepos.net) it's says it's for sharing photo and video. Not used it myself. But in most cases and you have already stated, the USB cable to your PC and share away. Not very convenient.

@muppeth - so, Cargo Dock can be used to share but only in conjunction with Owncloud?, I couldn't see any way to share any file using Cargo Dock, guess I better take another look! :)

EDIT: I see now and by the looks of it, Wizah has already tried these few methods, but I take back my comment @AmadeusXnet - my bad. (Live & Learn).

@Markkyboy you indeed missed a lot :P not only owncloud, but dropbox (ble) and webdav.

Aslo for local sharing i fancy http folder share. all you need to do is to make a folder (lets say 'share'0 and point the app to it. If you want to share something quickly, no need to copy files, just make a link (shortcut) to the folder (seems to be working). its http based so no problem with unsupported protocols etc. I find it very sneaky and proper way to go about it.

Of course would be nice to have more sharing options (missing xmpp) but so far I'm quite supriced with the amount we have 'til now.

I switched my comment into a answer. But yes, I love the Cargo Dock for its nice support for OwnCloud and Dropbox!

I'd suggest you to use Cargo Dock that you can find at the Jolla Store!
