Is it just me but the volume on both speaker and headphones seems to be very soft. On my iPod Classic and iPhone 4S I tend to keep the level at around 30%, but on Jolla it's 80%
I tried the same set of Sennheiser HD 380 Pro headphones on all three devices.
edit: I looked around and there are articles claiming that iPods are louder because Jobs was hard of hearing.

You cannot change the hardware of your jolla but edit wave file (recode files with a range of highest volume) is the best solution except for system sound that after editing don't work anymore (some strange wave format)
Recoding is not an option (takes too much time). I'm experimenting with Bluetooth headphones where I can change the volume independently of the phone.

I cannot compare with an iPhone, but the Jolla is as loud as other phones I had before. Except for audio coming through Android applications - that is low. You need an Android equalizer app to fix this.
Other than the Android issue... I don't know. Maybe it's the EU regulation about maximum volume in headphones? Devices you compare the Jolla to don't have to adhere to this standard.
