Android apps cannot read/write

Android apps don't detect there's any kind of storage available to them.
Trying to use the camera with something like Instagram starts up the camera view, then closes it immediately saying
please insert an SD card before using the camera
This happens regardless of if I have an SD card in my jolla or not.
The file chooser if I try to upload an image or something with say, Tumblr, nothing shows up.
Other than this, everything else is fine.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling android support, no change.
