I like to now if it would be possible to install the OS on the device 1+ONEPLUS ( www.oneplus.net )? I saw one from a friend, very nice design, top hardware. Low price.

possible? Sure! But ask in xda-developers forum. Maybe you find someone who port sailfish on one+ one Smartphone :)

Thanks for the answer.

Are you talking about installing Sailfish OS on that device or using the "Jolla Launcher" which runs on top of Android? To me it sounds like you want to install Sailfish OS, but your title and tag talks about the Jolla Launcher. Just want to make sure, we all talk about the same thing - maybe you update the question :)

BTW: Even if someone can port Sailfish to the oneplus device , you will not be able to use it as a 100%-ready-for-daily-use OS.

Yes i have the preference to installing the OS. Because i am a daly user of my Jolla. But afther reading your comment, it would be better to using the launcher or waiting till there is the posebility to install the Sailfish OS on different devices. or buying the new jolla device next year? Regrettably, because the One+One is a top device for his price.

I thought there was a OnePlus device running Sailfish OS at MWC, but that device was just there to show the possibility to run Sailfish on non-Jolla devices - Camera and other modules didn't work. I like the OnePlus as well, but you will be disappointed if you think you can run Sailfish OS the same way it runs on Jolla (plus we don't even know if there is a public imagine for OnePlus One available).

Be aware that Jolla Launcher isn't Sailfish OS, but a "theme/launcher" running on top of Android. So with Jolla Launcher you actually use Android and Android apps. The Jolla Launcher is still in Alpha testing status - it works very well, but it isn't a mature and final product (you can find videos about it on Youtube).

If I were you, I would just wait for future announcement and observe the development. If you want to use Sailfish OS, the only option is a Jolla phone at the moment - everything else is "under construction".

Btw: I also like the hardware design of the OnePlus One :-)

I believe this TJC forum is primarily meant for Jolla device discussions. I suggest the below channels for installation of SailfishOS on other mobiles / devices.

IRC channel #sailfishos-porters where you can get help.
