Can't uninstall apps that are at bottom of screen [answered]

I find that any apps that are at the bottom edge of the screen can't be uninstalled by tapping the 'x' icon. Tapping the icon just takes me out of edit mode. If I want to uninstall the app, I have to move it somewhere else first on screen and then tap the 'x'

Maybe it could be a general bottom of screen issue, since I also have this issue: https://together.jolla.com/question/55359/cant-access-notifications/
