Jolla store improvements [answered]
First of all: jolla store must be working via wifi. I received my jolla in 16th December and I was never been able to install any app or system update via wifi. Someone at care@jolla.com told me it was a known issue and that the store worked only in 3G mode, but now we're on 29th December and there's still no way to use the store via wifi, it's a pity!
It would be useful to have a status bar indicating the progress of a download when we choose to install an app.
It would be useful to know how many MB an app is supposed to be.
I can use the store without any problem via wifi. Is there a error message?

avhakola ( 2013-12-29 20:03:14 +0200 )editThe wifi connection works well with every app. When I enter the jolla store with wifi, there are no issues, the issues start when I try to download an app or a system update: it never downloads it and after a while it says "problem with the store". No issues if I download an app/ os update via 3G.
Gabir ( 2013-12-29 20:14:14 +0200 )editI wrote about the wifi issue to care@jolla.com, they said this was a known issue on 17th December but nothing has changed, I still can't download anything via wifi from the jolla store.

Bale ( 2013-12-29 20:27:13 +0200 )editWLAN connection worked for me too, straight out of box for the first update (1.0.0.5 -> 1.0.1.10).
pnuu ( 2013-12-29 20:50:07 +0200 )editI also had this error message but after a little/long while the Store started to download the updates with Wifi only. Right now the Store app doesn't open for me... ;(
damourti ( 2013-12-29 21:14:51 +0200 )editit works for me as well, I have been accessing the JStore via WiFi from the very beginning
xkkxk ( 2013-12-29 21:22:35 +0200 )edit@damourti, try if this helps.
pnuu ( 2013-12-29 21:52:25 +0200 )editwasn't it the wifi usage at first startup wrt registration that is unable to use wifi? since you couldn't authenticate to wifi yet?
AL13N ( 2013-12-29 21:53:33 +0200 )editIn my case it wasn't a problem at the first startup. It happens every time I try to download an app/ install a system update via wifi, as I wrote in my other posts.
