First of all: jolla store must be working via wifi. I received my jolla in 16th December and I was never been able to install any app or system update via wifi. Someone at care@jolla.com told me it was a known issue and that the store worked only in 3G mode, but now we're on 29th December and there's still no way to use the store via wifi, it's a pity!

It would be useful to have a status bar indicating the progress of a download when we choose to install an app.

It would be useful to know how many MB an app is supposed to be.

I can use the store without any problem via wifi. Is there a error message?

Does the wifi work with the browser? (Just to check if the problem is in your wifi and not in the store)

The wifi connection works well with every app. When I enter the jolla store with wifi, there are no issues, the issues start when I try to download an app or a system update: it never downloads it and after a while it says "problem with the store". No issues if I download an app/ os update via 3G.

I wrote about the wifi issue to care@jolla.com, they said this was a known issue on 17th December but nothing has changed, I still can't download anything via wifi from the jolla store.

Wifi works great for me (before and after the OS update). I have currently no sim card but haven't had any problems whatsoever in accessing Jolla store.

Jolla Store works well with WiFi. If you have problems installing apps, that you don't have when on 3G, I suppose it's related to your internet connection. It could be a DNS issue, for instance.

I don't know, I'm waiting for an answer from customer care, they told me they know the issue and to wait for their instructions. I'll let you know about further updates on that subject.

Update about the wifi issue I mentioned in the first post: jolla customer care told me they will make a return of my jolla for exchange or repair, so I guess they think it's a hardware issue.
