Pulley-menu transition to second page stack

Something my eye does not like is the transtion between an opened top menu to a second page stack.

It uses a parallel animation to pull down the menu, and at the same time, move to the second stack. it results a strange diagonal animation, which looks like unclear...

I suggest you make a sequential animation. Close the menu, then, push page stack... and decrease the duration-to-keep time.

I did not notice it before reading this post but it seems valid. If the pulley menu cannot be dragged side to side to choose between pulley menu items on the same row, then the need to close the pulley to do something else might seem to make the pulley-dismissal gesture get in the way of the user. Not sure the extra swipe plus fraction of a second transition bothers my interaction with the device but it might affect things in ways I hardly notice.
