image description while wanting to skip some tracks while listening to music its buggy to take it out if the pocket ipen the lock and change it.. even if u have the patch for lock screen you have to take the phone out of the pocket..

so it would be nice to have media player buttons on the other half. so you could change tracks easily on the go...

Waiting for a TOH solution, I use Soundmatters FoxL. Can be also used as a Bluetooth speakerphone. Amazing. See https://www.soundmatters.com/product/foxl-v2-2

Contact Dirk van Leersum, he's from Funkyotherhalf.com, and has already developed a lot of special TOH's(keyboard, glowinthedark, discotoh) with his companions. He can help you further if there is a market for it or you be willing to pay enough.

get headphones with media buttons on them? get a pebble smart watch and use pebbled? Use some other type of bluetooth controller device?

Sure someone could develop a TOH for this purpose, but multiple solutions are currently available

are head phones with media buttons compatible with the jolla?

@Ghost Yes! I use these: http://www.microsoft.com/en/mobile/accessory/bh-111/ The advantage of these, or similar bluetooth headphones - is that you can plug any headphone into the BT media controller
