Phone app unresponsive and lagging [released]

I am only reporting this bug now because I thought that it would have been fixed in the Update 1.1.0.38. but unfortunately it wasn't mentioned in the update log. Same when I updated to latest 1.0.8.21 And I hope that this bug report will be taken into consideration, not like usually it is closed for no reason or it says duplicated.
Phone app is unresponsive when opened. It occurs randomly. Scrolling becomes very difficult. Long press on contact lags or sometimes doesn't work. Selecting a previous call to go to contact info lags as well.
Receiving a call is sometimes very difficult to answer. Swiping up or down becomes very difficult (slow, not smooth at all, sometimes not possible) I have either to swipe out of the app and answer the call from multitask screen or just lock/unlock phone and try to find a way to answer. Therefore it takes ages to answer a call. I'm missing a lot of calls because of that.
Sometimes I try to avoid phone app by going through people app and start a call from there. But People app has always been veeeery slow since the beginning. (since i got the jolla a year ago)
Even worse when phone is rebooted, the call log stays empty for more than 10 minutes. It takes ages to load all the call logs. Same for people app that takes ages to show the contacts.
I don't know what other information I have to give you. But please ask and I'll try to be as clear as I can. Thanks
Do you have many contacts? And are you having the phone checking for online status of those? (facebook or something for example)

As for number of contacts, I'm not sure how to know the total number of contacts in my phonebook. But suspecting the problem would come from there I backed them as .vcf files and only saved in the people app the contacts I use. I've been using my phone like this for several months. Also I have more than 800 facebook contacts synced. Will update with the outcome after testing....

Still have to confirm for receiving phone calls...
