Uitukka seems to suffer from QTBUG-39453, "QML DropArea: Unable to reject external drag enter events, DropArea broken after that"

After I upgraded to Uitukka, the freecell app I've been using, Sail Freecell (from the Jolla store) ceased working. I believe I've traced the problem to this bug:

which has the title, "QML DropArea: Unable to reject external drag enter events, DropArea broken after that". I can't tell from the bug report whether Qt5.2 is affected by this bug (the bug report only mentions 5.3), but the behavior certainly matches, and since there was a Qt version upgrade in Uitukka, the timing would be right.
There is a patch available in the comments of the bug report, so hopefully it should be easy to deal with if it is indeed present.
I don't know if any other applications are affected, but I would expect that there must be at least some.
I can confirm that the problem in freecell began after the opt in OS upgrade. What @thebat137 says sounds a very plausible explanation which I hope Jolla can fix.
