So as far as I know, the version of Sailfish that I have does not have full accelerometer support for my hardware (mako). I'm currently running 1.0.8.19 - manually upgraded with "ssu fl" as I was getting somewhat impatient. :P

Anyway, recently I've occasionally opened applications and found that they are stuck in landscape mode. I was playing around in /dev/input, and none of the event* devices seem to be reading accelerometer data. The adaptations table seems to indicate that the accelerometer is supported, but I'm not sure how to enable it.

I feel like this has to be accelerometer-related, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Anyone have any idea what's going on here?

I found this sort of behaviour happening after upgrading to 1.1.x, I do not think it is a sensor problem, rather s/w not tuned yet?

What kind of device is this on? Jolla, Mako?

Mako is the name given to the Sailfish port for the likes of Nexus or Samsung.

This question doesn't belong here. Jolla does not support ported versions of Sailfish in this forum, please go to XDA developers or Talk Maemo where there are sections for this kind of question.
