  • It should be possible to edit also external calendar entries in Jolla that synced before, for example, from an Exchange server or Google (via active sync) and then sync them back to server.

  • Also adding new entries to all external calendars should be made possible, because this is a feature that we used a lot in N9.

Yes, please add support for CalDAV servers like OwnCloud (or also... GoogleCalendar!). It would be a great feature :)

CalDav ist really a "must have". I don't want to organize my calendars with Google. If I would like to to it with Google, I would by a native Android phone ;-)

I support this feature request! I also need the Google Calendar so much.

https://together.jolla.com/question/3612/release-notes-software-update-2-1025/ announced one-way sync. I haven't tested it yet, but anyway keep this open until sync is two-way (and CalDAV support is confirmed).

Ps. You still can't select which Calendar a new event goes to though

Thanks, that's how I thought it was.

One thing is still unclear: when I create a calendar entry, it automatically goes to the device local calendar and not on either of my Exchange calendars. If I can't select the calendar, how exactly am I supposed to create an event in another calendar? Cam I change the default calendar to be one of my Exchange calendars instead of the local one somehow?

Any plans to have this external calendar support in the roadmap? I guess this is also related to providng CalDav support with two-way sync to enable editing and adding entries to any calendar..

@tjp and @jaine

WRT Google sync at the moment it is only one way (server -> client)

WRT Exchange sync it is 2 ways (client <-> server) so in this case you should be able to add/edit calendar events (only the ones you have created of course). I just tested this and it works on 1.0.2.5. The sync back is triggered at next Email sync (you can force syncing email if you want to check)

How can you do that? I can't find an option where I could choose the calendar where I'm adding an event, and I most certainly can't figure out how to edit existing ones in MfE calendar.

@jaine - Calendar selection is not supported yet, coming in next updates.
