I try to figure out why my jolla does not store mail in my Imap server when writing a new mail on my jolla.

My jolla is set to local language(sweden) and had my guess it was because it try to store the mail on a non existing folder on local language such as "Skickat" or similar so I tried to place a symlink named Skickat pointing to "Sent" folder on my server.

But still no go I also tried add a sent-mail folder on servet but still it does not store it.

However all symlinks is shown on my jolla. So I have no clue why it fails.

Is there some way to force written mail to store on my Sent folder on my server?

Hi! The messages are saved in "Sent" folder on my Jolla, but I have another problem with Imap folders: https://together.jolla.com/question/59784/bug-mail-client-imap-and-folders/. Maybe, it is a related problem. Using Russian language.

Try to debug mail client: https://together.jolla.com/question/18378/how-to-debug-email-application-reason-email-sync-with-imap-server-fails-with-server-error/

My solution was to remove account and recreate it.

symlinked Skickat -> Send on my server fixed the issue.

However I think jolla-mail should fallback to english "Send" if it does not find folder in locale language. (as it actually does for Trash/Delete folder...

I does use English first, what you see in the device are the translated names when folders are matched, does not matter how they are called in the server side(only for standard folders), so some other problem here. Your default send folder is called just "Send" or is it "Sent" ?
