This thread is meant to answer your questions and give you some hints about the ongoing development of SailGrande, the unofficial Sailfish client for Instagram.

FAQ

-> There is no picture upload

First and most asked question :-) Yes, that is what also the description of the app is saying. I guess you read it? :-) But I'll try my best to change this and offer picture upload in the future. It won't be tomorrow and not the day after tomorrow. But hopefully picture upload will be possible sooner or later. Or it won't get in the app at all - This mainly depends on Instagram. I will try my best and keep you up-to-date with this thread or within twitter. Follow flwittmann on Twitter for news.

Yes. The dream of a native client for Instagram just became reality. I'll try to offer the best possible Instagram experience you can imagine on a Sailfish powered phone! This app is adfree, open source and hopefully you think this app is awesome.

What's next?

Currently there is little bit a slow down in development, as I'm very busy with my master thesis. Features will arrive step by step and might take a while. No ETA yet, but new features are gonna happen.
