Would really like an extended battery capacity.

I would really like a kickstand to be added. (like on the surface 3 just as an example)

I love that you use an intel atom CPU this will make it sooo much easier to have a fully open source stack/kernel.

I think the future is USB C, USB C has many advantages. And the Best will be If the Jolla Tablet hast 2 or 3 USB ports. Where I Can power the Phone and connect a Keyboard or an USB Memory Or another WLAN special Stick or a USB GSM-Dongle LTE-USB ....

Liked:

  • Design
  • Sailfish OS
  • SD Card slot

Not like:

  • only 1 USB
  • no further connection?

I would love a larger battery. But my 2 main concerns are screen size and processor. I would like a bit larger display, perhaps 10", maybe upgrade to a 2.X GHz quad core, 1.8 seems very two years ago.

Like:

  1. Sailfish OS 2
  2. Screen size and resolution
  3. Design
  4. Price
  5. SD Card support

Would like to see: (Nothing to dislike here)

  1. 2G/3G/4G support
  2. Type-C connector
  3. Bigger battery (OS may be efficient but it will be coming in middle of 2015 and increased battery capacity would provide longer operating time between two recharges, which will be a big marketing boost).
  4. More RAM (As someone has stated above, this will be coming in middle of 2015).
  5. 16:10 aspect ratio
  6. Keyboard cover
  7. Is the SD card restricted to 32GB support?

I do not like the size. 7-8" tablets are not my thing. I prefer 10" tablets and above.

I like all the rest, especially Sailfish.

Agree completely on the size - i have used many tablets of different sizes, and the bigger they are the better has been the user experience.

I also prefer larger screen size (10" and above) since my main interest in buying a tablet will be reading documentation and books. I prefer my Jolla phone to supply internet connection to other devices so no added value with modem for me. In general user experience must be fluent.

Dual boot (or triple) capability and a secondary usb with otg functionality (or at least foresee the usb host otg in the existing one).

Likes

  • Sailfish OS
  • 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM (Better with 48GB/64GB/128GB ROM choices)
  • 64-bit CPU
  • Price

Dislikes

  • Design (more sharp, less curve)
  • 5MP rear camera and no flash for camera (Should be 8MP and include flash)
  • 4300 mAh (Too low for tablet.)

What things to improve?

  • 3G / 4G all band
  • Physical keyboard accessories

Liked: Almost everything Disliked: Seems that there is no connector for docking to a docking station, keybord, whatever...

A tablet should habe the possibility to dock somewhere I think. Boosts usabilty :)

I like:

  • Screen
  • 64bit x86 platform (even I don't like Intel, but in the end all these companies showed quite similar behavior in the past)
  • Micro-SD
  • Sailfish of course

I hope there is (count as dislike if not):

  • USB OTG
  • MHL or something else to get HDMI out
  • Touchscreen being accurate, like Wacom accurate

I dislike

  • WIFI only. Tablets are for out of house use for me. Having the smartphone providing the connection is quite an energy life problem for them and, for most phones being single-SIM, a compromise for the right SIM is needed between smartphone use and tablet requirements
  • Battery. Sailfish seems to be efficient and the newer Intel Atoms are quite a challenge for ARM chips here as well but I haven't found a Tablet, or smartphone, where battery isn't an issue if the device is in heavy use. Think doing navigation work while streaming music from the web/cloud to a bluetooth device. So cutting down here is never good, especially if it's only for design.
  • only 1 USB, micro-USB even
  • no The other half style feature. Something with I2C, power in/out and USB connectivity and all these dislikes above are meaningless at once

undecided about the 2GB RAM, could be more but it looks like it's sufficient
