Great to see Jolla launching this new tablet. One of my request would be the following: Front facing Stereo Speakers à la Nexus 9, come on guys I'm sure you can do it, and the user experience will be so much improved with it! Dear Jolla members, please vote if you agree with me! ;-)

Not percé front facing but at least stereo.. and to be truly unlike: quadrippel stereo with on each side a speaker so the stereo can rotate with the tablet orientation
Very nice idea and I would easily love the large bezels for that feature.
But to tell the truth, I have this feeling that we may be happy if we get a single speaker buried under plastic that does not sound like a horny cricket. Next time we should demand before contribute.

I would prefer mono speaker with really good sound to stereo speakers with weak sound. (Adding good speakers is a matter of size, adding good stereo speakers is a matter of double size.)
Additionally stereo speakers depend on the rotation you use your tablet...
If I need excellent stereo sound I will use my headphones. ;)
True about the headphones - I just hope it will indeed produced excellent sound. Not too much data has been given.

We receive a lot of ideas and suggestions, which we are grateful for, but all of them can't be implemented. We've reviewed your idea and unfortunately it is not something we can implement, at least right now.
However, we will keep all suggestions, and might revisit this decision in the future if we see an opportunity to implement this feature-request in an upcoming product/SW release.

I love the two front facing speakers with good sound quality on each side of the screen (just as two small slits in the glass) - would be nice to see this on the Jolla tablet too!
