I would live to have RSS feed push in the events. Having RSS taking an entry in the events feed view, and listing the RSS feeds I'm subscribed. Configuring RSS feed could be done from accounts, just like other social network.

Probably also support Atom, a similar syndication format.

NACK: This feature wish is quite dependent on your habbits: Having more feeds with different type of content makes it impossible to filter calls, SMS, E-Mails or any other type of messages from the huge amount of RSS feed information. Use a dedicated software for this - Tidings is (almost) perfect!

RSS and atom, yep

I would prefer to have an separate (active cover) app for rss feeds, so that the events wouldn't be always full.

Depends on the RSS feed; some feeds are slow-moving in nature. And of course, dedicated applications is always an option. :-)

The way the N9 handled it was ideal: A stand-alone RSS application existed, but you could choose which of the feeds you subscribed to would be pushed to the event feed.

At the moment, the event screen on the Jolla Phone is always empty (except for notifications about mail/SMS) anyway.

I think this is the way to go (and to add this feature to Tidings).

I would prefer it the way it was in feed-Screen of the n9: notifications (Messages, Email, calls..) on top and below that all Feeds (Facebook, twitter and rss) all together. for those who can't handle so much Information there should be an Option to have Buttons to the Services instead of the Feeds.

I agree. In effect the notification is more 'organised' than the old N9 notification screen... When you connected twitter it was ok, plus some rss was better and very smart, but adding Facebook you got every FB post, and it was full and slow!

So, the support for RSS in notifications it will be a great return! Better if in a mixed, inspiring list of tweet, RSS, FB important notification.
