Bluetooth hardware details [answered]

Hey folks,

I was wondering that maybe I'd like to buy some earphones / headphones to listen to some music now that I have a device with proper bluetooth support.

From what I read the state of good wireless audio transmission is not great, and as I was reading it seems that both the sending device and the receiving need to handshake and configure the codecs to use, like sbc, mp3 or aac.

From what I read there's something "amazing" called aptx ( a proprietary codec ) that some devices support that should provide almost cd quality ( yeah sure, after reencoding the reencoded, but whatever :P ).

What are the full detailed bluetooth specifications for the jolla device? What codecs does it support? Any good recomendations, tips or suggestions to listen to quality music without the hassle of headphone cords?

Right now I have some decent earphones from seinheiser, cx300II, and those are the best phones I ever bought ( never before priced phones ), so maybe some adapter device form them would be better.
