Not hide keyboard when selecting drop-down example menu

In Android apps, when writing something the program offers some examples(like google). When you hit them, keyboard hides. The problem is that is needed to get keyboard back again to press enter after that.

Also, when selecting text inside Android text field or moving the text cursor, the keyboard vanishes if you take a little while to complete the action. Faced this when typing an answer in Quora app....
