[feature-request] Music based ambiances

I like your idea. However, making and algorithm that would create an aesthetically pleasing ambiance of any album cover is going to be challenging. Cropping the cover, picking text and highlight colors, sounds(?), etc. You still get my vote.

@Okw: It's not that challenging. It's exactly what happens when you pick any photo from the gallery and make it an ambience. ;)

@Taaeem: I like the idea. Only problem I see is that most album covers might be too small to make good ambiences. They'd be stretched and you'd see every pixel.

@ossi1967 I don't think that it would be stretched too much. Did you use a phone with android 4.4? There is when you listen to music the cover gets the complete lockscreen wallpaper and I never saw any pixels but I must say I used Spotify always and they have very high-res covers for their tracks, and they don't stretch it they just cut off the edges.

@ossi1967, I have to disagree. The ambiances I've created from photos that way have not been aesthetically pleasing. It does pick a color, but most of the times I'd pick a different color :)

really? I only use pictures from my gallery and i never had any problems with it. of course you might not like the colour pick, but thats the beauty of it. the randomness. i could say the same about someones ambiance. this is very subjective and i dont think tjhe picking algorithm has anything to do with that.

As to the subject. idea is nice, but i wonder how big impact it would have on resources (constantly changing ambiance). especially that i usually have my phone in the pocket. a middle solution for me would be to have option to choose a cover as ambiance.
