How to check and verify, if contact is hidden or not?

According to my new whatsapp (android) application I have 139 hidden contacts - Why they are considered hidden by the app?
How i am able to control the visibility of the contacts in Jolla?
In my opinion such feature could be one way for the users to choose, which contacts are possible to sync with various cloud/internet services - Right?
