I've just watched a promotional video phone Jolla (http://jolla.com/jolla/#) and it seems to me that there is a LED indicator in the upper right corner of the device. In my phone is at the bottom, in the middle. Whether the first models were constructed differently?

No, all devices sold have LED indicator positioned middle bottom. What you mistook for indicator LED in the video is proximity sensor. You can see same effect if you point a camera towards you Jolla. Or just point your Jolla camera to a IR remote control for TV and press any key on it :)
