I use a Microsoft Exchangeserver as primary backup of my Contacts. I'm currently using an iPhone, was eager to use my new "other half" (after the "Accept all Certificates" thing came in the exchangeserver configuration), but found out that contacts, having special properties (customized ringtone, member of VIP group, the ones where a picture is set in their contactdetails), are not being imported. So far, all the ones I am missing seem to be these kind of contacts.

For me It sounds like a duplicate of https://together.jolla.com/question/1074/sync-exchange-contacts/

In that case none of the contacts are synced. In general I would say the Exchange integration is broken.

thanks for your answer. no, that issue is not related to that (btw: android (running on nexus 4 & 7 handle that quite well..) - I am just trying to get an initial download of _all_ contacts happen. it might be just a problem of format.

Improved in Sailfish 1.0.4.20, Ohijärvi, account re-creation is needed, if you still have issues please comment here.
