Accept device repair in different country than was bought

Please accept Jolla Phone for repair in all countries you officially sending Jolla, not only one country where it was bought. Since all Jolla Phones are same and there are no country firmwares or so, i see no reason why phone bought in Russia (just for example, my Jolla working ok and i don't need help to repair device) can't be accepted to warranty repair in Finland and vise versa.
I didn't know it was like that, that doesn't sound right. All counties that the phone is sold in should be supported

jolladiho ( 2014-11-30 15:05:59 +0300 )edit@jolladiho: There has been no such coding done. For the rest, it is pretty tricky sometimes to deal with warranties due to local laws and regulations. However I do not have the details. Otoh unless somebody moved countries in between, this rather sounds like something phone thieves would like to get stolen and locked devices back into shape.
