We need an easy accessible to apps store that specifically made and optimize for Jolla device and community, geeks and non-technical users alike. It can be more interesting and powerful than AppStore and Play store in many ways for developers. What do you think?

The problem isn't with the Jolla's App Store, it's with the very restricted features / APIs that are currently allowed and the lack of paid apps. Update 10 will partially address the former (we think) ... but no update since an "H2 '14" mention for paid apps in April. I hope and think they must be aiming to launch paid apps before MWC in February ... that would seem like a pretty important deadline to meet. We can talk about the store itself once it's more open, and developers can be paid for their work.

Jolla is failing since 1 year (start of delivery of first phones) to launch an App Store for paid apps - guess that's one of the reasons for the poor availability of SailfosOS apps ... no sign there's a store coming soon, there were rumours of such a store to come before year end but today is Dec. 1st and there are no signs of a paid apps store ....

Jolla Storeis already in existence. It's called Harbour: https://harbour.jolla.com/

A client application for Jolla Store is preinstalled on every Jolla Phone.

Does it count as a store if it only has free apps?

Apple Store and Google Store started with free apps only too, yet people weren't so quick to diss them then.

Some time ago, the Jolla Store team has announced that their target was "to provide you the monetizing possibility durign the 2nd half of 2014". If this question is about paid apps support (?), it probably is a duplicate of Harbour/Store: support for paid applications.

Nice will be an overview of jolla-apps into our harbour account on the web. If we connect into, we could see all the apps we have installed, and maybe other functions too. near of it gives on play-store, when we open it on the pc browser. I hope that what a wrote is good to understand...
In resume, it would be possible to manage his apps in the harbour account, like in google play. At the end, a bigger display of a computer is always more comfortable...

@anandrkris It is either that or way too generic. The amount of duplicates and splitting of votes caused by them is really an issue. The search function does actually work very well if one does use it...
