I just got mine yesterday. OS updated, now 1.0.8.21 (tahkalampi). Already have some new gray hairs.

It was not possible to use bluetooth SyncML from N97 to get my contacts. Pairing worked, transfer not. Essentially the same bug as : https://together.jolla.com/question/37122/bug-symbian-transfer-contacts-via-syncml-bluetooth/

I instead exported the contact my contacts as instructed in: https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201836827-How-do-I-move-contacts-to-Jolla- "Importing from another phone - Over USB". where the instructions were wrong on point # 9, the vcf file has to go under "Documents" not to the root, to be discoverable (I found out later). When moving the file here, it does not show up at all in the "Settings > Applications > People: tap on “From contact file” under Import contacts. (*)". I managed to get something to show here by sending a bluetooth business card from the N97 (.vcf), to discover where the file should go (Documents), and to see that a vcf file can at all be imported (it worked for this one contact). I moved(usb) the ALL.vcf to the same directory, and checked that it has identical permissions as the file I moved through bluetooth. After several hours an old school solution came to mind. I rebooted. The it all worked as it should.

Second instance of the same issue: moved 15 music files using usb to /Music. The Jolla Media app found 3 of these. File browser shows them all. After a reboot, all the files showed up.

Seriously - what's wrong with this file system? Why can't Jolla apps find the recently moved files on the disk?

tracker-control -es fixes this without having to reboot.
