Hi guys. Didnt find similar question but considering its nature i guess someone asked already. There seems to not be a way to add xmpp contacts. Why?

As far as I know there is only one way.

You have to install an android XMPP-client, for example Xabber. Here you are able to add a XMPP-contact.

If you want to add a XMPP-adress to an existing contact in your peoples app, please add a XMPP-contact (like described above) with the name of the existing contact as alias. Then you can associate both contacts (the already existing and the new only XMPP-contact) to one contact in peoples app.

That´s the way it works for me (running 1.0.8.21 Tahkalampi)
