Hello:

It would be great that you add the following languages for developing apps:

Python(There are already a library called Kivy http://kivy.org/#home ) C++ Processing HTML5/Javascript

Thank you

Although I'm no programmer, I think this could attract some more devs. Probably. ^^

You can use JavaScript to develop HTML5 applications to run in the browser already.

I'd like to see Rust compiler added to Mer though.

I have not yet started developing apps for Jolla myself, but the QT toolkit used by SailfishOS allows you to use Javascript in combination with QML to develop apps, and from what I understand you can also use Python.

QML is, from the tutorials that I've watched now and read now, easy to learn, and easy to apply. Silica (the Sailfish layer) does also not seem to be complicated.

I think https://sailfishos.org/ is a good starting point, but I am reading http://qmlbook.org/ now and that has already given me a lot of insight.

At this moment I don't see the value of adding 'more' languages, as I think enough are already supported (I could be wrong on this).

Python is already implemented with QtPyOtherSide and you can use JavaScript anyway with QML. And backends are also normally written in C++. For reference check sailfishos.org and the official Qt website.
