when listening to music with headphones and receiving a message, the music is silenced and the message-notification sound is played. at the beginning and end of the playback of the notification sound there is usually (not always) a very loud click/pop sound - loud enough to actually be very uncomfortable or even a little hurtful. this also (rarely) happens when starting or stopping playback of audio. the appearance seems to be random and the volume of the click seems to be independent from the playback volume.

note: this post is not duplicate to other similar ones, because they are using incompatible headsets - i use a stadard headphone

edit: i found the clicking also happens sometimes through the speakers! but not annoyingly loud

I have (but don't use) a standard set of Nokia headphones, I've just tried them on my Jolla, sent myself a text while listening to music, all completed without any clicking sounds. I'm running SF

I noticed the same issue. I first tought it was related to the sound functionality entering / leaving some power saving state.
