I cannot help but feel that the way your devices and software are developed are undermining your business potential and are causing social unrest.

As someone who's typing all this up on a Jolla phone, I don't want the Jolla 'community' to be making demands as to the hardware/software features. The whole point of your company is that you provide the features that help it maintain a competitive stance on the market. I didn't buy the phone because of the whole "show the big companies that people matter" drivel, I bought into it because the platform and UI perform and work better than most of the competition.

If I felt I was qualified to make suggestions then I would either contribute directly to Jolla based on my own merits, or I would fork Sailfish and perhaps even create my own product line. The current system I believe means your developers can't focus on the core issues and make Jolla a viable brand.

So what am I trying to say? Jolla Oy, your phone is yours, your tablet is yours, do whatever you want with them, and please avoid letting others corrupt you.

I suggest you just stop using it, or use it to find your answers, as you wish, but let people at Jolla and among the community/3rd party developers get the best out of it in the meanwhile. Jolla is surely qualified to decide how much of their resources they are putting into the communication here. Nice answer regarding this:
