Are there any rules about answering a wiki post? [answered]

It is my understanding that when we create a poll, both the original question and the possible answers should be created as wiki posts. Fine.

But for other types of questions here that are created as wikis... what are the guidelines? I didn't find any. Is there a rule that says answers to wiki posts should be posted as wikis themselves? Do non-wiki answers collect karma points when upvoted?

The reason I'm asking is that if editing a wiki is the socially desired behaviour, but answering it with a non-wiki post is what you are rewarded for, the system feels only half perfect. :)

Did I miss anything? I searched for wiki and guidelines and wasn't successful.

@ossi1967: I think your proposal makes sense that any wiki topic deserves only wiki answers so people don't harvest karma points exactly the same way it works for polls...

Thanks to @ossi1967, we now have some hopefully simple and clear guidelines to create and contribute to wikiposts, see: https://together.jolla.com/question/71252/wiki-posts-guidelines/
