Hi Sailors,

I am an absolute newbie here at Jolla and I have my phone since 3 days. I am happy with my phone and I like that thought that I have a phone from Europe (without NSA Plugin :-))

Meanwhile everthing works fine, except the caldav support. I have an owncloudserver where my wife and I have an Account and where we share our calendars together. When I connect to my Account I see all Calenders, but in Detail it dosent work. New added Events where not synchronized. All-day appointments where never synchronized. Shortly - It does not work with my Calenders. A little disturbing is also, that I dont see what the manuel Sync does. no error, no success, no progress

I had also tried Syncevolution, but it also works fine with only one calendar :-(

Has anyone of you a hint for me what I can do?

Big thanks! Thomas

CalDAV support is still experimental. Just look for questions tagged with [caldav] and/or [owncloud].

I've been using google calendar for a while now and so far, everything seems to work. I've also been looking for solutions that do not involve google, the only suggestion I got was that Microsoft Exchange accounts "kinda work". Also tried Fruux but I got the same problems as with general CalDAV (due times are changed to equal starting time).

Thanks for your answer, but Exchange is no solution for me. Please Jolla - push the standards!

Mh, wait until Update 10 is out … for me it does not work well (it is experimental as said), but instead is eating data.

Hi Thomas,

I am almost in the same situation as you are, but the synchonization works fine for me even with multiple calendars (but I never tried shared ones). I just created a new CalDAV account (Settings -> Accounts) and specified my owncloud details. I think I specified the link in the following way:

https://domain.de/owncloud/remote.php/caldav/calendars/[username]/. (The servername is seperated in the dialog.)

All of my calendars including the colors were found and are synchronized just fine. Maybe I should add that I am using a StartSSL certificate. I had bad experiences with self-signed certificates, so I can only recommend you do likewise.

Shalom!

Thanks, which Version you have? I have the newest owncloud Version and I am using also a SSL Proxy. The Path I entered at same Way as you... hmm...

I am using ownCloud 7.0.3 (stable). Who signed your SSL certificate?
