Hello there

Yesterday I thought I make a backup to be on the safe side. However, that backup deleted all mails, most parts of the contacts (the birthday remained) and all calendar entries as well as the calendars themselves in the calendar app. They still appear in the accounts menu.

Afterwards I performed a restoration but nothing happened anymore. Any ideas what happened? I'm running with the experimental firmware. Can I provide some log ouptut? Where can I find it?

Thanks for any help! Aurel

Did the device show any error message regarding the SD card?

I saw nothing, no. But I started the backup and then put it away. When some hours later I took it again, I saw nothing.

Strange thing: I just got a reminder from the calendar but there is no entry visible in the calendar app. Also there are no calendars I can choose for displaying. I also noticed not alle contacts have lost the phone number, only some of them. So it seems the informations is still there but it can't get displayed. Any ideas how I can query the databases (phone book and calendars) on the console? Kind regards Aurel

Did you reboot after ? Online contact wont be kept by backup, so if accounts are in proper state the content will be fetched again.

I did a restart but the calendars did not sync anymore. Finally I deleted and recreated them. Now it works more or less correctly (the caldav-calendar does not fetch from the server but it writes correctly to the server).
