I installed google drive android application from aptoide store on my jolla phone. Unfortunately it crashes and closes the application whenever i try to open it. There is this message displayed while closing of the app - "Cannot find any Google account, exiting the app". What does it mean, and how can i overcome this problem?

All the Google apps became very unstable for me with the latest beta software update Uitukka. I tried the manual method of installing by copying the APKs over to the device, and installing them through the Aptoide store. Manual method worked, but Google Play Services were not running well, causing other apps to crash. When I installed through Aptoide, I could not even launch the Play Store. None of the mapping apps I had were working correctly any more, I have the feeling that something is really broken for the Android support at the moment. Which version of Sailfish OS are you running? Have you opted into the Uitukka update?

Same issue for me with Sailfish 1.1.0.39 ... I don't want to install Google Play, if it is required, IMHO Google Drive should be removed from Jolla Aptoide store since it doesn't contain Google Play...

Somewhat apart from the Gapp "Drive" you could use apps like ES3 (filemanager) to access your favoured cloudservice. But you shouldn't expect all the additional features / services that the original drive-app provides...

Maybe you should try use drive in the browser. I use younited as my cloud. But their android app have some issues. I cant download pictures throw the app. So now i use younited in browser mode, while waiting for their native app.
