Bluetooth authentication worked. Streaming music worked once the BMW head unit UI things got sorted out (Jolla was behind "external devices / Bluetooth" not just Bluetooth, or something). Going back and forth in playlist worked with buttons on steering wheel. Browsing contacts on head unit display just worked. Phone call using car speakers and microphone just worked.

Things just worked. Thanks!

What version of OS you have. In my car, calling, music is working, but no phonebook :/

My Jolla has latest stable release About the car details, I don't know. It was on loan for a short trip.

thanks for info. My is opt-in SW. Anyways there were no info about changes in BT. On the other hand they claimed to release stable update on Noveber (so I said opt-in release for month is OK). But now it is even postponed for new year around 3 months on opt-in release :/ If they would say on fornt that it will be more than a month I would skip it.

Best regards, Mariusz

@Kurossa I had to change the device type to "Car kit" in Jolla and then the phonebook also worked (BMW X3).
