Jolla, Gmail, Facebook accounts vanished, unable to update [answered]

I am unable to update as my Jolla says that "Jolla account needed : Go to Settings | Accounts and create an account".

I already have a Jolla account and have been updating my Jolla regularly.

When I go to Settings | Accounts, the settings app crashes.

Any idea why this is happenning?

Also I had an account for gmail, facebook and twitter, for which I was getting updates, now when I swipe from down for notifications, I see none and my email client wont open either.

I am not able to go to developer mode as well as the settings app cashes as soon as I choose this.

HELP!!! ANYONE!!! PLEASE!!!

(I have already tried restarting my phone, taking my battery out for ten min and putting it back!)

Do you have terminal app installed ? (in case you activated devel mode before). If so do in the terminal:

devel-su -p

jolla-settings

After that observe if the settings app starts, if not copy the terminal output to a pastebin and paste the link here.

@Vinodh - Have you installed some patch applications or something from outside Jolla store ?

Thank you all for you help. I have managed to find a solution. I did a restore of my accounts from a backup I did for a previous OS upgrade and it seemed to restore my accounts. I have even managed to update my Jolla to the latest OS 10 update and everything seems to be fine now. Once again many thanks to all those who tried to help.
