eMail keeps updating - Exchange clone backend Zimbra

I have configured an Exchange/Active Sync account which connects to our Zimbra Server. This work fine unless after some hours the Jolla eMail client for this account hangs in "Updating". Only rebooting the phone resolves the issue.

Is there a way to debug the mail client why it is stuck in "Updating". Can the client be restarted without the phone being rebooted?

Please activate the logs, once you notice this behaviour write down the date and time, try a manual sync while in that state, wait for a minute and collect the log file.

enable logging, in:

/home/nemo/.config/Nokia/activesync.conf

Enable file log and add a path for the log, like for example:

   [FileLog]
   Enabled=1
   Path=/home/nemo/Documents/as.log

Reboot the device or restart the daemon:

systemctl --user stop as-daemon.service
systemctl --user start as-daemon.service

Examine the file to see if you want to remove some data, your email address, calendar entries names and folder names can be presented there, send me the logs to mail-logs at jolla dot com. After that turn file log off again by setting "enabled" to 0.Thanks a lot!
