It is a nice gesture to provide OS updates for the First Ones first. I request this early-update peer to be enhanced with app developers who have submitted at least one app to the Jolla Store, so they can check their apps for potential incompatibities or other problems as soon as possible.

actually the update is available for the first ones AND for people with the opt-in update, which was open to everybody. If you were that interested to get your app tested, you could have opted in and checked it yourself. Or use the sdk to test it.
@folfredo AFAIK the updated SDK will not be released before Jan 05th, please let me know if I am wrong. Of course I want to be able to test for compatibility as soon as possible, but using Jolla as my only phone, I prefer not to install pre-releases, that's why I did not opt-in for update 9.
