At the moment i had relaxed after update10 installing smoothly and my phone not needing a reset i ran Terraria and found it's music and SFX sounds lagging. Then I closed Terraria and ran QuasarMX to test to what degree my problem applies. Music player refused to do it's job so i had my phone rebooted again (yes i did reboot it after installation was over and Jolla shown me desktop) but it was no help. Then i rescanned folders and it worked and now playback is as it should be. Then i tried to reinstall the game but it was no use. Help me please!

UPD: My deepest thanks to developers - for me it was fixed in the last update.

I upgraded to Vaarainjärvi few days ago, and I hear stuttering in Android apps. This includes Spotify and DI.FM app. The thing goes even worse when I run Music Volume EQ app. (On the side note I would like to see native EQ, I believe it's nothing that Pulse Audio cannot do).

NOTE that before I updated to Vaarainjärvi sound in Android apps worked perfectly even with Music Volume EQ running.

One more annoying thing about sound in Android environment is that in Vaarainjärvi you fixed the issue that Android volume was not linked to global system volume. Now it is, but try running Music Volume EQ and try sliding Volume bar and see how it works - it doesn't. I don't know if I like such kind of fixing things.

The sound is stuttering due to audio buffer synchronization issues, which may be caused by some changes you did to make Android environment consume less power, or maybe you reduced audio buffer size. Can we increase audio buffer size, or make it configurable? Be honest, Jolla is hacker/devel device and not mass market thing, which it will never be. So can we get more devel stuff on it working (like CPU clock adjustment etc..)

I confirm that Android sound bug in version 1.1.2.16 is FIXED. I can even play Spotify in Extreme Quality with Music Volume EQ turned ON and no problems so far.

From the release notes, section Known Issues:

Audio stuttering has been observed in Android applications. We are aware of this issue and are still working on it. We will push out an update as soon as a fix is available.

"We will push out an update as soon as a fix is available." - Does that mean that the fix will come only after a few months time with update11? Or is there a chance of getting an update for that particular issue before that?

@Jolly-Jo, as this is quite pesky bug i think developers are trying to fix it as we speak.

Nope. Have the early version of 1.1.2.15 and it still lags.

Pretty annoying.
