I am going to update my phone strictly as per instructions from Jolla.

I use Webrepos app. But I have just uninstalled the Warehouse app and all its apps. Does this also remove/disable the repositories? I never really had any app from the warehouse store that was useful so losing its data doesnt really matter to me.

I dont want to break my device. Do I need to factory reset my Jolla before installing the new software to make sure warehouse repositories dont play up?

Uninstalling Warehouse and all related apps should be enough, and having repositories when updating shouldn't be an issue anyway if your unit has software newer than 1.0.4.20...

You don't actually need to uninstall Warehouse or any of the apps installed from there (unless they conflict with the apps that are in the update, but that is very unlikely). Even if you do, the repositories don't get deleted or disabled. However, as @Kayakist mentioned, unless you are on a release version of 1.0.4.20 or lower, this should not be a problem, as these third party repositories get temporarily disabled when upgrading anyway. Factory resetting is also not necessary.

tl;dr: you should be able to just upgrade your phone without having to manually remove or disable things, so go ahead and install it!
