Hello,

Just made the u10 update few minutes ago and touch screen is unresponsive. I can't type the SIM PIN right after booting ; Only the push buttons power/unlock and volume up/down reacts.

I then removed the SIM ; it boots ok until the screen gets locked. There, I can push the power/unlock button, it displays the screen, but I can't swipe the screen to unlock the phone.

For now, I could come back in 1.0.8.21 using recovery...

OK… I felt on various posts including this one : https://together.jolla.com/question/58070/proximity-sensor-broken/

I ran the diagnostics… Looks like the proximity sensor is unresponsive. I ran the test several time now, it fails 100% of the time.

May be this is why I can't take calls as well ? I'have had the exact same symptoms as within the post.

Looks like my Jolla is going to repair once more…

Felt on this one as well : https://together.jolla.com/question/11374/bug-accidental-unlocks-and-pocket-dialing-feature-req-disable-touch-screen-and-pwrbtn-when-proximity-is-detected/

"Since this also means any proximity sensor faults will render the device practically unusable, it will be possible to temporarily disable proximity sensor by triple power key press."

As far as I can see by following "together" is that I should wait till the Jolla devs are back from the holiday season . I would wait for a minor update if its available. I am perfectly fine with old features.
