Think of the lpm screen as a snapshot/screenshot. If the light sensor is interrupted, the lpm screen gets updated. It's not meant to be used as a timepiece as such, hence options of 'from pocket' or 'hover-over' in mce-tools (mcetool).

does the LPM work for you, beside of the date? since update 9 this feature has become relatively useless for me, since I must remain up to 10 seconds over the proximity sensor to activate it. :(
breiti_oi ( 2014-12-28 15:07:46 +0300 )editI have only the date update problem in LPM. LPM screen activates in a half a second. By the way, I have a Lastu case with a leather cover. Perhaps opening the cover gives a good signal to sensors.
