Gallery and media player should have an option to include folders where application searches content.

Now for instance content from Android WhatsApp does not appear to these apps. User should have an option to select and add folders where pics are searched.

It would be nice to exclude folders, too. That way album art and map tiles won't need to clutter up the images viewed.

Edit: Sorry, just seen there's already a request for that.

In this Q https://together.jolla.com/question/5935/how-to-blacklist-directories-from-being-indexed-by-tracker/ there is an answer that proposes to add directories for Tracker to index by using this as a workaround:

gsettings set org.freedesktop.Tracker.Miner.Files index-single- directories "['$HOME', '/my/other/dir']"

Directory tracking can be made recursive with 'index-recursive-directories'
