Hello, Is there any way to set up push notifications for my gmail email account? To me emails delivered immediately. Not after setting up synchronization. Thank you

See this request on TJC for IMAP push. Unfortunately, it is not yet there, so vote it up! :-)
The email app (while impressively fast even on large mailboxes, I should note) is for me personally the one that would most profit from more features (push/idle, encryption, search, sort, ...). But all of these features do take lots of time to implement...
