I'm fine with the Android support but having them take centre stage in the store is just reducing any incentive to develop a native app to the nth degree, especially for official clients for services like Skype. If you think you can use it to bloat the number of apps you can tout in press documents, well that's fine but it won't lead to more users as most people won't buy a Sailfish device for 'apps'.

At least Android Apps should be separated to a separate section of the store, not only marked with a little android logo, or it should ve possible to filter them.

Yes, a separate section for Android would be nice. That way one could first chech native apps and then androids.

I think a big problem is not really that there are Android apps in the store, but that lots of them are just incredibly terrible applications that no one would ever even think of installing. Seriously though, who is ever going to install 'UAE public prosecution' and all these Saudi Arabian apps (for all the Saudi Arabian Jolla users...), or any of the crap by 'FORFICTIONmobile' and so on?

I agree. If I want Android apps, I would rather download from one of the Amdroid stores. I see no benefit in having Android apps in the Jolla store unless these are Android apps specifically for the Jolla.

Yes, please get rid of droid-ware in Jolla SailfishOS Store and if needed create a spesific AlienDalvik Store for Android/Google stuff.

Quite a few Android apps installed from other sources don't run on the Jolla phone. I think it's a very good idea (in principle) to have the Jolla Store as a source of apps that a guaranteed to run on my phone, no matter which OS they were originally written for. (The fact that most Android applications published in the Jolla store so far aren't the ones I'd be looking for is a different matter.)

I agree, if Android applications are recommended because no native applications are available for the same purpose. But they should be separated better from the native applications.
