There are websites that the Jolla browser just can't use. As an example, Google Calendar. It is very hard to tap accurately, and some elements can't be tapped at all (account selector, top right), or you need to tap with a certain offset for the taps to register. It is very frustrating... :/

Do u have Update 10 installed? This inaccuracy should be fixed with Up 9. I played some chess games with the Browser and since Up 10 I manage to select the right figure on the board. With Up 8 it was a mess.

Yes, I'm on the last update. Do you have Google calendar? Try using it on the phone and see if you can touch the account selector or create new appointments easily, maybe it's me :/

I also have this problem in update 10. It's not as prominent as before and it varies depending on site. For example here in together I need to tap at the top of every button for it to register, and just slightly above links... In planets.nu site I need to tap at the link one above the one that I want. Also sometimes the offset is to the side instead of down. I think if I enter a planets.nu game in portrait, and then switch to landscape, the offset is to the side, and if I enter in already landscape, then it's down...

i have to tap on some items quickly, imagine days in calendar (javascripted - no new page load), or thing similar to calculator, so it produce zoom in/out (like old symbian browsers) what is only one feature what i dont like, becouse i have to tap slowly and it cost time

There seems to be a bug with the precision of interpreting tapped coordinates within the browser (or ui?) when resolution/font size is small. I hate to say that this works better on android.

Sometimes a link gets activated where my finger was not even close about.

The humble work-around that works for me in most cases is to zoom the web page (if possible) to a size where you can not miss the link (depending on the size of your finger tips).

If it is caused by UI then a calibration function for display taps in settings would be great.

EDIT: It seems to have become better with 2.0.2.48; any dissenting opinions?

For me personally, even zooming in, often doesnt help at all (sadly).

Sometimes im more then 1cm away from the button which gets activated and a lot of pages (especially mobile pages like Facebook or even ownCloud) dont allow zooming.

Facebook often driven me insane when i just tried to upload an simple image.
